There are a few things to be careful about when doing this however that the video (bottom of page) doesn't fully explain.
1. When your taking the motor out, make a quick sketch on how the wires are aligned and which way the sticker on the motor is facing. This will make it a lot easier to get it back in.
2. When putting the new motor back in make sure the wires aren't shoved or cramped because this will cause the wires to overheat which could blow your fuse.
3. When putting the handle bottom back on make sure to tighten the screws as tight as possible to insure that the motor is aligned with the gearbox so that the motor doesn't just spin freely.
4. If you hear a strange noise when testing the installation DO NOT fire twice. Only test fire once, then correct the problem if something doesnt sound right. a. If the gun sounds like its making a whizzing noise make sure the screws are tight b. If the gun is making a grinding noise make sure you didnt over tighten the screws and make sure the motor is facing the right direction. c. If the gun doesnt fire at all, take the motor out and allow time for it to cool. (Smell the motor, if it smells burnt, dont worry you just need to give it some time to cool. d. If the motor doesnt smell burnt check your connections. Something might be loose. Your wires may be cramped somewhere.
Also, upgrading motors and such is a great idea but just be careful which parts you order. Some guns can handle TURBO motors, other guns cant. If your gearbox isn't the best of gearboxes I would be extra careful when upgrading your motor.
I know this isnt the best video but for those of you who are wondering how to replace a motor, and learn by watching here it is.

So long story short... while Justin and I were fixing the Mp5 it turns out the reason the mp5 was acting up was because it was missing the washer behind the motor and turns out the motor was in backwards. so its def recommended to try and switch wire arrangement if the gun is still acting up....lol.
